The Centre offers a high-quality learning environment featuring state-of-the-art workshops and classrooms equipped with the latest technology.

As a purpose-built training facility, the Euston Skills Centre offers a variety of construction courses in partnership with the College of North West London, part of the United Colleges Group. Our broad curriculum includes one-year study programmes at Levels 1 and 2, focusing on practical workshop-based learning in multi-skills, carpentry and joinery, plumbing and electrical installation, alongside theoretical studies.

Life at Euston Skills Centre is all about practical, career-focused learning in the heart of London. Located close to Euston Station, the centre provides state-of-the-art facilities including specialist workshops, an outdoor training area, fully equipped classrooms and a dedicated Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) test centre.

Students here train for real industry roles in construction and green technologies. We offer qualifications such as Level 1 and Level 2 Diplomas in Carpentry & Joinery, Plumbing Studies and Electrical Installation, alongside specialist training in future-focused areas like solar power, air-source heat pumps and electric vehicle charging systems.

Our close links with employers and projects such as HS2 mean students benefit from unique opportunities to learn near live construction sites and access a wide range of apprenticeship pathways. Each year, the centre supports over 150 apprenticeships, preparing learners with the skills that employers are actively seeking.

Euston Skills Centre serves Camden’s local community by delivering high-quality, construction-focused training in partnership with Camden Council, United Colleges Group, and HS2, backed by significant investment. The centre offers modern classrooms and well-equipped workshops for carpentry, plumbing, electrical installation, and green technologies such as solar power, air-source heat pumps, and electric vehicle charging systems.

Students benefit from a learning environment directly adjacent to live construction sites.

The centre supports clear career pathways, delivering over 150 construction apprenticeships each year and providing accessible training opportunities for residents, particularly those from disadvantaged or under-represented backgrounds. Alongside technical qualifications, students gain employability support, career advice, and guidance to help them transition successfully into the workplace. Camden also has a specialist brokerage team offering dedicated construction-related information, advice and guidance, addressing all aspects of the industry and helping students embark on successful careers.

What are the entry requirements?

You will need English and Maths skills at Entry 3/Level 1 (equivalent to GCSE Grades 1-3). If you do not have evidence of your English and Maths levels, you will be given an online English and Maths assessment after you submit your application. You may also be asked to complete a piece of free writing or a vocational assessment.
